Quote and Design Selection
Perfect Countertops provides a comprehensive service for creating the perfect countertop for your space, starting with finding the perfect design. Simply visit our showroom in Round Rock to meet with our experts, who can take you through color and material options to find the right design for your space and budget.
Starting with measurements of your space, we can determine the right type of stone to make your design ideas a reality. Our designers can find the right color match for your space, based on any paint swatches, carpet, tile, or other samples you bring with you. We can also provide color samples to take home to help you make your decision.
Once you’ve determined the type of stone and colors that you’re interested in, we will create an estimate of each option, so you can make an informed decision on how to proceed. We will also find the right distributor to get you the best price and quality for your selection, whether it is granite, engineered stone, or laminate.

Ordering and Templating
Once you’ve made a design decision, we will create a contract detailing estimated dates of delivery and milestones for the work. After you’ve signed the contract and made a down payment, Perfect Countertops will begin the process of templating.
Using the latest technology, our experts will take measurements of your space to create a digital template of the job. All this information will be converted in computer aided design (CAD) drawings. The template allows our fabricators to make precise pieces for your countertop job.
Perfect Countertops is guided by customer satisfaction, and our team will check in with you during the templating process to ensure all specifications meet your expectations. We will also compare the templated dimensions to those quoted in your estimate and will let you know if there is a difference between the two, so that you will never be surprised by your final invoice.
The team at Perfect understands the intricacies of the fabrication process intimately. Our high-tech tools allow us to cut through stone with exact precision, creating a masterpiece for each of our clients.
Each project is different, and while there are general timelines we try to stick to, we inform each of our clients individually regarding when they can expect fabrication to be complete. We keep lines of communication open throughout the process so that you know exactly what to expect. Once fabrication is underway, one of our staff members will contact you to schedule installation.
In order to make installation as quick a process as possible, clients should prepare the space in advance:
Remove old or existing countertops
Disconnect plumbing, including faucets and drains
Disconnect electrical items, including stovetops or disposals
Disconnect gas lines, including stovetop ranges
Collect any items that will need to be part of the install, such as
Water filtration systems
New or existing cooking ranges
Install supporting brackets
After installation, you will also need to have a licensed plumber and electrician reconnect any of the lines that have been disconnected. We can help you find licensed professionals for these issues.
During installation, our team will work to capture any dust that may be generated by installation. We cannot be responsible for any of the following:
Paint touch ups and wood trim
Demolition of previous equipment
Cleaning of space before or after installation
Protection of finished work
Caulking or sealing adjoining trades
If you require help with any of the above, we can determine how to help you in the contract process.
We will always go over the installation with you before asking you for final payment to ensure that the job has met your expectations. We are driven by satisfied clients and will do everything in our power to get you the perfect countertop.
